My journey began along the Wild Atlantic Way
Cloud Surfer sums out my passion for film and visual storytelling in the West of Ireland and my 20 years experience in hospitality sector.
Growing up and working along the Wild Atlantic Way I developed a deep understanding of how atmosphere, detail, and emotion shape the way people experience a place.
After studying film and media production in Wesport in Mayo I began translating that perspective into cinematic aerial and visual storytelling.
Meet Leo - the visionary behind Cloud Surfer
Cloud Surfer is led by me Leo, originally from Transylvania, Romania. I first arrived in Ireland in 2007 to study Business in Hotel Management at ATU Galway, beginning a long-standing connection with Irish hospitality.
With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, followed by formal training in film and media production in Westport in Mayo, I bring a rare combination of operational hospitality knowledge and cinematic storytelling expertise.
This dual perspective — understanding both how hospitality businesses operate and how they should be visually represented — makes Cloud Surfer truly unique.
